Prior to the installation or removal of petroleum storage tanks or piping, tank owners must obtain a permit from the Authority Having Jurisdiction. In PTMAA jurisdictions, the permit application and engineered drawings (new installations only) must be forwarded to the PTMAA prior to commencing work.
